Ferrari Driver Who Killed Biker in Drag Race Around MetLife Stadium Gets Prison

A man who struck and killed a motorcyclist during a high-speed drag race around MetLife Stadium has been sentenced to five years in state prison.

Joseph Ferretti was convicted of vehicular homicide for his role in the May 2012 crash. The other driver had pleaded guilty last year to death by auto and was sentenced to 364 days in jail.

The two men were working for a company that allowed people to drive high-end sports cars around a temporary track near the stadium in East Rutherford with a professional driver in the car. Authorities say both were racing at high speeds when they lost control of their Ferraris and Ferreti's car hit 56-year-old Stephen Lenge head-on.

Lenge was riding his motorcycle to work at a music festival at the complex.
