Alloro

Taking its name from the herb, Laurel, Alloro is a family-run eatery on New York's Upper East Side reflecting a traditional Italian restaurant concept with a modern flare. The decor is adventurous, like the menu, where Executive Chef Salvatore Corea has taken classic Italian specialties and transformed them into gastronomical creations that surprise and delight. Gina Rotundo, Salvatore's wife, runs the front of the house and organizes special events such as their popular series, Parla come Mangi, an Italian Language Supper Club that offers New Yorkers a unique conversation class while enjoying a delectable Italian culinary experience.
