Five Finger Death Punch:
With gritty, gravely sounding guitar riffs and alternating clean / unclean vocals, Five Finger Death Punch is adding just the best elements of hardcore to their brutal metal sound. With two gold albums and five years of tour dates under their belt, Five Finger Death Punch is becoming one of the leading bands in the somewhat declining heavy metal scene. The band's combination of head banging riffs with classic metal ballads has become a bastion in a world dominated by countless indie bands and DJs. Fans can witness Five Finger Death Punch for themselves as they headline 2011 tour dates on the Share the Welt Tour this fall.
After rock band U.P.O. broke up in 2004, bassist Zoltan Bathory switched to guitar and formed Five Finger Death Punch with drummer Jeremy Spencer. In 2007, they released their debut album, The Way of the Fist, which was well received and even climbed up the Billboard 200. Immediately after, they played their first tour dates on the Family Values Tour and have remained friends with Korn to this day. Five Finger Death Punch's next album, War Is the Answer, shot up the Billboard charts 100 spots from their previous album and received great reviews from sources like allmusic.com and Kerrang!. The album greatly increased the band's following and has set the stage for a successful career.
As fans wait for the release of American Capitalist in October, they can catch Five Finger Death Punch on a number of tour dates in 2011. After a number of performances at various US tours in August and September, the boys will kick off their Share the Welt Tour 2011 on October 15. The tour will feature special guests All That Remains, Hatebreed, and Rev Theory and will conclude on October 29. Five Finger Death Punch's 2011 tour dates end on November 2, so buy your tickets soon.
Escape The Fate:
With one of the fastest and heaviest sounds in metalcore today, Escape the Fate has gained a huge following with three hit albums and regular tour dates on the Warped Tour. Though their lightning fast guitars and drums have brought them popularity since 2004, their most recent, self-titled album has brought them into the mainstream. It's also brought Escape the Fate their first headlining tour dates in 2011, which continue well into the fall.
Escape the Fate caught their big break after winning a radio contest to open a show for My Chemical Romance, judged by the band themselves. While Escape the Fate's debut album, Dying Is Your Latest Fashion, initially received average reviews, it showcased the band's talent and led to tour dates that would boost their popularity. The band's lead singer, Ronnie Radke, was soon fired from the band due to frequent incarceration and his involvement in the murder of a teen. With Craig Mabbitt, Escape the Fate released This War Is Ours in 2008. The album reached #2 on the Independent Album charts and brought the band their first full-length concert schedule.
Escape the Fate has let more of their classic metal and rock influences show on their latest self-titled album, which is garnering well-deserved buzz from music critics. The group has recently finished tour dates on two 2011 headlining tours, with more beginning in late August. While most of the concert schedule is planned for the US, Escape the Fate will head to the UK shortly before ending their 2011 tour dates on October 30. Don't miss this opportunity to catch one of the world's leading metalcore bands on their concert schedule this fall.
