Syleena Johnson

She is a soul music artist who has been into music since she was a child singing in her high school choir. She worked in choirs in her college career as well while attending Drake University in Des Moines,Iowa majoring in psychology then changing to a music major. She left Drake University and attended Normal's Illinois State University to continue her music education. In 1997 Jive Records discovered her when she met an assistant scout that worked for them.
